1. Introduction and Definitions

 

  • This document outlines the terms and conditions governing the use of the STRAIGHT HUB platform, a digital platform for open innovation and community contribution in quality of life fields. The platform enables entities to engage the community in identifying needs and opportunities, collecting experiences, data, and opinions, testing ideas and services, and transforming contributions into opportunities and solutions that can be further developed.

  • Platform: Refers to the STREET HUB website and application, including its digital interfaces, services, communities, and tools.
  • User: Any individual or entity that registers, browses, participates in, or interacts with the platform in any manner.
  • Entity: Any government, private, non-profit, community, or other organization that submits an opportunity, requests contributions, or collects opinions, experiences, or data from the community through the platform.
  • Opportunity: A subject, need, area for development, question, or innovation opportunity submitted by an entity for the purpose of benefiting from community contributions and diverse expertise to generate insights, ideas, solutions, or development pathways.
  • Contribution: Any idea, opinion, experience, knowledge, proposal, data, solution, or other content submitted by a user in response to an opportunity, activity, or request published on the platform.
  • Contributor: A user who participates by providing information, experiences, opinions, ideas, knowledge, proposals, solutions, or any other contribution through the platform.
  • Joint Innovation: Any idea, solution, project, or innovation output developed through the contributions of more than one party, subject to the agreements between the relevant parties.
  • NDA: A Non-Disclosure Agreement intended to protect confidential or sensitive information exchanged between parties in connection with specific opportunities or activities on the platform.

     

2. Registration and Account Use
  • Users must be at least 18 years old to register on the platform, unless otherwise permitted by the platform in accordance with applicable laws.

  • Account sharing or allowing third-party access is prohibited without authorization.

  • Specialized Memberships: The platform may provide specialized memberships or permissions for certain groups, such as experts, solution providers, investors, research entities, or partners, according to the available services.

     

4. Intellectual Property and Copyrights
  • Rights relating to contributions, ideas, content, and innovations remain the property of their respective owners unless otherwise agreed in writing by the relevant parties.
  • No entity or user may use or exploit another party's contribution, idea, or content outside the permitted scope of use on the platform without obtaining the required consent or legal right.
  • Making a contribution available to an entity or other users on the platform does not, by itself, constitute a transfer of intellectual property rights.

  • Opportunities and their related content must not contain misleading, unlawful, or infringing material, or material that violates the rights or privacy of any third party.
  • The entity is responsible for the accuracy of the information it provides regarding an opportunity and for defining the nature of the requested participation and any applicable requirements.
  • The platform reserves the right to review, modify, reject, or suspend any opportunity or activity that does not comply with its standards or applicable laws.

     

6. Contribution Submission
  • Contributions submitted by users must be original or submitted with the necessary rights and authorization for their use and sharing.
  • Contributors are responsible for the content of their contributions, including any intellectual property rights, data, or information submitted through the platform.
  • Contributions may be reviewed, classified, analyzed, or evaluated according to the nature of the opportunity or service provided.
  • The platform does not guarantee the acceptance, adoption, or implementation of any contribution. Submitting a contribution does not create a contractual obligation between the contributor and the entity unless separately agreed in writing.

  • The platform is not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of information submitted by users or entities unless such information is expressly provided by the platform itself.
  • The platform is not liable for failures, disputes, or obligations arising from direct agreements or transactions between the parties.
  • The platform does not provide any legal, financial, or commercial guarantee regarding any idea, contribution, solution, or project published or developed through the platform.

     

11. Legal Compliance
  • The platform complies with the laws and regulations applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia according to the scope of its activities and services.
  • Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations relevant to their use of the platform, including those relating to intellectual property, privacy, data protection, and published content.
  • In the event of a legal violation or a lawful request from a competent authority, the platform may take the necessary measures and cooperate with the relevant authorities in accordance with applicable laws.

17. Dispute Resolution
  • The platform encourages parties to resolve disputes relating to contributions, collaboration, or direct transactions through communication and amicable negotiation.
  • If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to the applicable jurisdiction and dispute resolution mechanisms agreed upon by the parties, in accordance with the laws applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • The platform is not responsible for disputes arising from independent agreements between users or entities unless the platform is a party to such agreement.

  • Users may use artificial intelligence tools when preparing their contributions unless the terms of a specific opportunity or service provide otherwise.
  • Users are responsible for reviewing content generated or assisted by artificial intelligence before submitting or publishing it.
  • Contributions created or supported through the use of artificial intelligence may be subject to review according to the nature of the applicable service or opportunity.

     

20. Withdrawal and Participation in Opportunities
  • Contributors may withdraw from participation in an opportunity according to the status of the opportunity and the rules applicable to it, unless their participation has created a separate contractual obligation.
  • An entity may close, modify, or suspend an opportunity according to its nature and requirements, subject to any obligations agreed with participants.
  • Closing an opportunity does not automatically transfer ownership of any contribution or related rights to the entity or the platform.

     

21. Professional and Community Conduct
  • The platform prohibits the use of the platform for unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, or otherwise harmful activities, or activities that violate the rights of others or compromise the safety of the digital community.
  • Users must interact respectfully and objectively and must not publish offensive, misleading, or rights-infringing content.
  • The platform reserves the right to take appropriate action to maintain a safe, respectful, and constructive environment that encourages participation and innovation.

     

22. Community Contribution and Quality of Life
  • The platform aims to enable community participation and open innovation in quality of life fields and to encourage individuals, entities, experts, and innovators to share their experiences, knowledge, ideas, and proposals.
  • The platform focuses on identifying needs and opportunities, understanding community experiences, testing ideas and services, and transforming contributions into opportunities and solutions that can be further developed.
  • The platform or participating entities may provide recognition, rewards, or opportunities for collaboration for outstanding contributions, according to the nature and terms of each opportunity.

     

All terms above constitute the general framework governing the use of the STRAIGHT HUB platform and are subject to periodic updates and development in accordance with changes to the platform's services, its operating model, and applicable laws and regulations.
